A Northstar resort in Florida has reopened for the season.
The resort, which is owned by the ski resort company Blue Ridge Ski and Snow Resort, is set to reopen on January 7.
The company said the decision to reopen was made in conjunction with the Northstar Board of Directors and the resort’s board of directors.
“We are proud to be able to continue operating as Northstar has for the past eight years,” CEO Steve O’Brien said in a statement.
The hotel reopened on the same day that it was slated to close.
It will reopen on December 14.
The town of Northstar is located about 30 miles (50 kilometers) northwest of Miami, and about 20 miles (32 kilometers) east of the Canadian border.
